Victory is lifestyle 2This month we are celebrating one year of Revealed8! It’s amazing how fast one year flew by and to see how far God has brought us. Imagine where you would be if you didn’t start working on your dream or purpose a year ago? You would still be hoping, still be wishing, and still be thinking to yourself…one day. Or perhaps, imagine where you could be in one year if you started today. It’s never too late to create the life you always wanted.

I was looking back on all the posts this past year and was moved by the first post I ever wrote. The truth of that post still applies today and there would be nothing more satisfying then to recapture those thoughts on our one year anniversary. In fact, that’s what we will be doing the rest of this month…emphasizing that the heart of this ministry is to see lives transformed, leaders developed, and CHAMPIONS RISE TO THE OCCASION.

You have a choice. When you wake up everyday, you make a decision. Will you live in defeat? Or will you choose to win? Everyone wants to win. What separates the chosen from the average are those who simply choose to say yes to victory. The beautiful thing about choosing victory is that it chooses you back. Unfortunately, that goes the same for defeat. What you get is what you sow. When you say yes to win in your life, you get winning results back.

When you make up the decision in your mind to say yes to victory, then your attitude follows. Your work ethic follows. Your passion and your drive follows. Your heart follows. Your actions follow. Your words follow. Even when things don’t go your way, you realize there is no turning back. Even when you cannot keep going in your own strength, you soon realize that it was only by God’s strength that got you where you are anyways.

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. Romans 8:37

Again, I say, Victory is a lifestyle! It’s the life you live when you simply say yes to it… everyday. With God, you cannot lose. There will certainly be trials, tests, hard times, obstacles, and low moments in your life….but remember, those are moments. Keep choosing victory even when you are in those cave moments. Keep choosing victory even when you “FEEL” like you are losing. Ultimately, you win, because Christ won. Before I close I leave you with these famous words by Winston Churchill:
